Hi everyone. I pretty much know nothing about photoshop and I was wondering if I could get a little help.

Im trying to cut the top off a bunch of photos (164 to be precise). I only want to cut a small amount off, like the top 20pixels. I need all the photos to be cut identically. Is there a fast way of doing this?

Thanks

Of course there is.
Open one of your images.
Then you have to do an action (alt+f9 to open the actions window).
Once its open, look at the bottom side of it to find a "create new action" button. Click it, name it "crop", then click ok. Once clicked, its automatically recording everything you do, so now do your crop. When done, stop the action by clicking the stop button. Then close your image, don't save.
After that put all your images, which you want to crop, to one folder (also back up to prevent any loss).
Then File/Automate/Batch.
Then select your action "crop",change source to 'folder', browse your images' folder, set destination to 'save and close' and click ok.
You still have to click ok every time it saves, I know there is a way to automate that too but I just haven't tried it.
