Hey guys and gals.

I'm trying to figure out which font is used for the numbers in this bar code picture:

(I hope I did that right, here's a URL if the pic doesn't show.)
http://tinypic.com/r/mvnsxv/5

Now, I've been searching through font websites for a few days, and I've read through just about every font-related post the search could find. I'm at my wit's end here.

The PS that I have is Photoshop CS3 Extended, and is on my older brother's comp. He was great with it, and I talked to him briefly yesterday (he's deployed in Afghan atm, I'll be shipping back out in two weeks) and he said there's a font recognition tool, or something... I dunno. He was in a rush to get back out on patrol. I've also searched for said tool, to no avail.

I'd like to change the numbers at the bottom to my birth date etc so I can get it tattoo'd onto the inside of my wrists before I ship back out.

Any help is greatly appreciated, cheers.

If you're looking for a font recognition website - http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

This one looks quite similar - http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/emigre/tarzana-ot/wide-ot/
Unfortunately it costs quite a lot, it's not that hard to do it manually with photoshop though.

Thanks for the links, I have no problem buying the similar font if I'm unable to find the specific one in the image in time.

I'll continue my search for this elusive font, hehe.

Thanks for your time.

For barcodes, a font should be used that includes both the bars and the text.
Look for this on the web, you will find plenty. You just need to figure out which standard this particular barcode is.

Cheers
