First post on the forums, so please be kind!
I've got my first photographic shoot with a model in the next few days. I've had the initial idea of using my camera to take a reasonably good composition, with moderately good lighting etc, but I'd like to use Photoshop to adjust and tweak the image.
If anyone has any expirience in this area, please give me some advice. As up until now, I've done just transport (in particular, aviation and aircraft) action shots of transport and still objects... However, not much in the way of human photography.
Any ideas on what to do with Photoshop? _________________ -FP

It really is going to depend on the quality of your camera and the end result of the photo that comes out. You may find that you only want to do very minimal things to the photo if it looks good to begin with. Hard to give advice without seeing the photo. _________________ Best Regards,

Thanks for the quick reply mate, much appriciated.
The camera is a very good one, well, I have two which I plan to use, neither a DSLR. A Fuji Finepix S5600 (don't laugh) and a Panasonic Lumix. The FinePix, yes, somewhat of an amateurs camera, is my main toy to play with. I've had it for a year, since brand new, and never has it let me down when taking a bad picture. So why, I ask myself, should I get a DSLR, when this one does the job just as well as a Canon 350D?
My colleagues take the micky out of me for keeping it and not gettinga DSLR, and everyone on here will be forgiven for doing so too. The Lumix I only use as a backup, incase the other bottles in unexpectedely. _________________ -FP
