Exporting Images linked to external datasource

Hi everyone

I was wondering if it is possible to export multiple copies of the same image with a text layer changing dynamically form an external data source.

For eaxample I'm creating an invitation card and i want the invitees name to be dynamic for the export and want the image to be exported once for each of the invitees in a csv file or excel spreadsheet. So i don't have to hand write each of the invites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
