Elements 6 opening

HELP!

I recently installed Photoshop Elements 6, and imported, and then updated my catalog from Elements 3. For whatever reasons, I can not get Elements 6 to open. Any thoughts on why I can't get it to open?

If I reinstall it, will I lose all of the files in the Organizer? Are there any other solutions than reinstalling the program? If I do reinstall, do I have to uninstall/remove the program first?
