Hey guys, i'm new to the forum, but have been using photoshop since version 3 (Back when the entire program fit on 3 or 4 floppies).

I've created some web mockups for a client, who wants me to forward them to a web design guru, however he has CS2.

Can CS2 open files created in CS3?

Hi there
The answer is yes, just make sure the 'preserve maximum compatibility' option is turned on in the preferences.
Hope this helps
Matt

Thanks for the reply.

i figured out that the error messages he was getting was referencing specific layers ... when i looked at those layers in my CS3 file, they were all Smart Objects. I rasterized those layers and VOILA! It worked!

THANKS again!
