|
|
Hi all,
Can anyone help me with this? I have about 200 PSDs that were supplied by another designer, and I have to use them in an InDesign document.
Unfortunately some are RGB, some are CMYK and all are layered. I'm wondering if there is some kind of preset or shortcut that enables me to convert them all to flattened CMYK PSDs, without having to open each one up and change it manually.
Thanks a lot for any help or advice |

Hi MacGraphics,
First, record the required steps to action:
- Go to the Actions palette
- Click "New action" button > Record
- Flatten the image (Layer > Flatten Image)
- Convert it to RGB (Image > Mode > RGB Color)
- Stop recordig (square button in the Actions palette)
Now batch-play the recorded action:
- Open Batch dialog (File > Automate > Batch)
- In its "Play" area, make sure the recorded action is selected
- In the "Source" menu select "Folder" option
- Click "Choose" and locate your "200 PSDs" folder
- In the "Destination" menu choose "Save and Close"
- OK
Hope this helps. _________________ Andrei Doubrovski
