Hi Everyone!
I'm still in the intermediate stage in PS and learning a bunch from this website. It's awesome that we can get together and help each other. If only life in the real world could be as good.
I'm trying to blend a photo to the one attached here. My problem is matching the grey color in the original. I've tried going black and white and can get close, but not close enough.
Any help would be a blessing.

The image displayed here looks like it's tinted and not actually greyscale.
Use the color picker to sample a darker hue in the picture. Then, use Hue/Saturation and tick the colorize box at the bottom. You may still need to do some fine tuning.
I used this method, picking a color from his forehead, to do the left lens in his glasses (without the fine tuning).
