Hi....I have just started with CS3 and will be taking some online classes. I have used Elements 5.

My monitor (17") resolution is 800 x 600. In order to use Elements I must change it to 1024 x 768 to get all info on the screen. Of course the fonts, print, etc is small.

For CS3, most info gets on OK, but some with some screens I must still change to 1024 x 768. This is a bit annoying!

I would like to purchase a new monitor, maybe 20" or so. I tried a 22" Widescreen and there is some distortion, ie. a circle on the monitor prints out oval and vice versa. Obviously this distortion would be present in other things.

Do I need to get a "regular" monitor (not widescreen), which seem to be mostly unavailable? Any recommendations....what do CS3 people use the most?
