I have no idea what you are asking, perhaps you could explain more clearly. |

Sorry, I'll try. Thanks for taking the time to help.
I have a map which I'm trying to edit. At the moment all the countries are as they would normally appear on a map - the US is bigger than the UK etc.
What I would like to do is edit the map so that the countries have equal areas - say 2 square inches each - without distorting their shape. Is there a tool or a technique I can use to do this other than breaking each country up into composite shapes and calculating the areas myself? _________________ Tom - Be nice I'm very new to this... |

Select the country, then use transform (ctrl+t) to chnage the size, hold the shift key to maintain the aspect ratio. |

If you want a specific size, like 2" square, you could make a square of that size on a separate layer. Then transform each image to fit inside the square. |

that would be a lot easier than what I'm planning to do but the area inside each shape needs to be the same... _________________ Tom - Be nice I'm very new to this... |
