I want to change a image to 16bit color. Although I cant find the option in photoshop. Should it be under image--mode? I am using photoshop elements 6.0

Thanks

Hi.
I am following a tutorial for making normal maps. The 2nd step is to convert the image to 16 bit color. But they dont explain how to do that.

Heres the tutorial

Ahh Elements, I don't think that it supports 16bit images, sorry to say. Just do it without the conversion, it should make no difference to the result.
