attatched is the file I want to change, I want to change the colour of one of the red towels to green, ive tried the magic wand tool/and edit in mask mode then changing the colour through hue/sat but my problem is i cant get the details when you look up close its like a line when the colour changes and not realistic at all, is there an easier way of doing this? thanks

I did the exact same as you i think. Its not great but its glance proof imo.
I changed the reds in hue/sat to green on a duplicated layer. Then layer mask with fuzzy brush to avoid the line.

Nice work Auieos, getting the 'fuzzy line' was a nightmare I bet.

While Auieos's approach was correct, the method was incorrect. A Hue/Saturation adjustment layer is the correct way to do this.
