Hello,
I want to give my scooter a paint job in photoshop to see what it looks like.
I can make it every colour, but not black or white Now I want to make the lights, rims and buddyseat white, but if I try to make it white the texture dissapears.
So my question is: How can I change these parts to pure/clean white while preserving the texture of the image.

I think you have done the white well. Edges are another story |

It's not possible to have convincing whites (I mean totally convincing), As Auieos says, you actually have done a convincing a job as you could, obviously bar the masking.
It is at times like this when my logic (read madness) thinks, hmmm, why cant I just make it black, invert and mask? (save you some time and experience if you don't) _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
