Welcome to the forum uneek78
Depends on what kind of retouching you want to do and what stage you are at with Photoshop and retouching in general.
Katrin Eismann is well respected and will certainly give you a thorough grounding in the fundamentals Katrin's Books The Retouching & Restoration is probably your best best.
Some folk, like SKIN by Lee Varis, although I don't get on with his technique or workflow, it's horses for courses though and there are always elements that you can adopt or appreciate.
If you want more 'high end' retouching you would be better to invest a few hundred in a suitable video High End Retouching You tend to get what you pay for, but don't underestimate what you can get for free, check out Adobe.TV and YouTube there's loads of content out there, you'll soon learn to filter the wheat from the chaff.
PS: I have no interest in plugging any of the above, just my tuppence worth. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
