I created an action to convert a file to grayscale from RGB but when used in batch processing it opens and saves the files to the specified folder without applying the mode conversion. Anyone know why this may be?
If I use the action on a single file it works fine.

This may be a silly question, but do you have the correct action selected in the batch process window?

You may want to record an action using the Desaturate command (Shift + Ctrl + U) instead and see if that works.
