|
|
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could assist me in determining the best method to create seamless textures in batch. The source files (fabrics) will have different cropping points due to the various repeat sizes. Ie. an image may show multiple repeats and we need to reduce these down to a single repeat (we will have the Hor. and Vert. repeat sizes). We will need to do a few thousand. the source images will be of a consistent size, but the repeats will be different. Any ideas?? |

There are various ways to make seamless patterns.
Two of the key components will be mirroring and or having a using an offset between left and right.
Even the more advanced methods usually only combine the two techniques described above.
To be honest to give you a how and what the best method would be, I would really need an example to give a more specific advice. _________________ Bart J.A.H. de Brouwer |
