Hi all,

I have a vendor who only prints 8 specific colors. Thus, all my art must use 1 (or all) of those 8 colors. No overlays - just solid chunks of single colors.

I get designs from customers that run the gamut of color.

I'm wondering if I can do something in Photoshop to simply convert art of various colors to contain only the 8 "approved" colors.

It would seem that it would have to somehow be intuitive. If RED is an approved color, but the customer provides MAROON, Photoshop (or whatever program) would change that maroon to red (instead of purple, for instance).

But I'd be happy with even a simple method to do this.

Thanks!
