Even though the rules state that spectators 'vote' the winner, I think that this is a classic case of 'it's more about the taking part than the actual winning'

Alright! I get it all now!

I think we should make a new thread, so that the 'battle' can be followed in a fresh not-3-pages-long thread, where the focus is totally clear.

I will make my counter hit tomorrow. Game on!

How about you both take the original pic and within 48hrs put your fully adjusted altered pic back up and then the members would have something to vote on?

That would be a different kind of game, I feel this was exactly why the various rule sets were laid down, to give options on the way they were played, to cater for each individual preference.

I accept that to some, the declaration of a clear winner is all important, but for me personally, the tips & tricks picked up along the course of the game, the experience gained and the fun/frustration enjoyed carries far more weight.... But each to his own eh?

Ill start a new clean thread then, ill call it (as per the rules) Johnny_Seven vs SSO #2, but from experience people will interject with questions & comments mid game that will pad the thread out again, but hey that's cool with me!!!

So cool to see you guys picking up on this. :) Just to make sure, as the rule sets thread says, the rule sets are provided as a convenience. If you would like to create your own rule sets or customize the rules for a match, please feel free to do so. :)

Thanks,

Patrick
