I have a problem in Photoshop.
I have psd files, containing 3 layers. The first 2 are group layers containing 2 different logo's for 2 companies. The 3rd layer contains the productimage. I made an action for HDR and I need to do that in a batch for about 3000 psd files.

The problem is, that when I do a batch, the action automatically tries to do it on the first layer, but it needs to take the third layer.

Note that all 3rd layers on every psd file has a different name. Also I can't place the 3rd layer on top, because of the fact that the logo's aren't visible anymore.

I hope you can contribute this question to the right person and see if there is a way to edit your action or batch in photoshop, to make the action take the 3rd layer everytime, on each file.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
D.Rovers

If the first 2 group layers are the same on each image, is it possible to create a work around by creating an action that deletes the first 2 company logo layers. Then run your action for the HDR. Then run an action that inserts the missing layers back in again.

OK scrub that first idea. Then you record your action, use the keyboard shortcut Alt + , or Opt + , to select your bottom most layer.

It will be recorded inside the action as Select Back Layer and should solve your problem.
