you don't need a tutorial, slicing is ridiculously easy.
grab the slice tool and start fooling around. Any area that you slice around with the slcie tool will be given it's own cell when you export the table. Any area that you don't slice around will be assigned slices auto by photoshop. Sometimes however, you will want to govern the use if these area by slicing them yourself.
