ive recently moved away from brushing... anyway here are some works
please give feed back

the characters are from an online game i play

these are good. i like the backgrounds. the are really vibrant. the characters are a low resolution...maybe it woul dbe wise to redraw them. or i understand some video games, the character is pixalated by defalt. so either way iit works.
the problem i see is that the characters are floating. i think i hint of a shadow or maybe a horizen line would really make a difference. and on the second one down, i think the outer glow is out of place in that color. maybe change the outer glow color to the color of the border and move the text up so that it doesnt bleed over the border.
i think these are cool. just some ideas to make them a little more solid compasition wise.
