try using the color selection tool, then select the nearest color to the things u want to erase...then using the smallest brush, paint over it...

i think that's more than good enough...you can even create some neat 3D stuff with that kind of PC...you could try improving the graphics accelerator.

you can try using a smaller brush...and make your strokes a little light when smudging...i'm not sure though...the best way to know for sure is to experiment...

you got some really challenging stuff there...if you can't change the shading to grayscale, u could try using grayscale colors to shade it up. try experimenting on filters too. Eek

how about going over some tutorials...it's usually boring but it's always good to read between the lines...i'd say you can learn a lot of great stuff from tutorials within a month...

try opening the image into photoshop instead of dragging it in...
