Problem resolved. The baseline shift was off. It was set at -1000 or more. Correcting that fixed all problems.

Here is a more clear example of text skewing off page.

The second time, instead of going to the bottom of the page, it went to the left.

Video driver is up to date. I tried changing the mouse, but same problem. I guess if there are no solutions, I may try to uninstall CS5 photoshop and do a new install.

Anyone have any other thought ...

Extreme difficulty in using photoshop. It's like the anchor point for brushes, text, etc, shifts. For instance, I select the brush and click in an area, and the painted ares appears somewhere else. I ...
