Try clicking on that layer in the layer manager, then filling it with white - then you'll at least be able to see it, and can figure out any problems from there...

Thankyou - but the problem appears to be something to do with Photoshop's 'import' feature. Printing resolution isn't the problem - it's trying to get it to a manageable size on-screen that's confusin ...

I'm using Photoshop 7 and a fairly standard scanner, and am having huge problems trying to scan in black-and-white line art for a webcomic I draw.

If I scan at a nasty resolution - 96dpi, for insta ...
