you need to calibrate your monitor. adobe gamma is worthless. spend about $200 on a calibration system, or send your prints out. |

if it uses hardware acceleration, fraps (fraps.com) will do it.
if you can, disable overlays. |

imho adobe gamma is crap. if your serious, spend some money on a hardware calibration unit. use a calibrated printer, with its specified paper. |

Nikon Electronic Format/File, doesnt matter, ive heard both plenty of times.
you need to put it into 8-bit.
if your serious, ( and i gather you are form shooting in RAW), id look into getting C ... |

Sorry but your not completely right. Rotation of images (and saving them) is possible without loss of any data whatsoever. I've worked with Photoshop since version 1.0....

everytime you save a jpeg, the quality goes down.
when you rotate in windows picture viewer or apple iphoto's browser. it rotates them and saves as a jpeg.

shoot under a 5000 K light
or adjust your white balance in the camera to incandesent. |
