I have an old family pic that really needs some touch up, I am clueless on how to repair this photo. I thought I would humbly ask if anyone would care to try and touch up this photo so I can print it out for the family.

Thanks Scott

Welcome to the forums scott5626. As they say 'show us the goods', you can provide a 200kb preview and then send the large image to those interested parties.

What format and size do you have the original in? As always details on the exact nature of the work would be appreciated.

Sure it's 18.9 MB in bmp.

As you can see the scratches are pretty bad, some gouges are also evident.

The pic is from around 1979 so it's seen better days.

Looks like a nice photo at it's heart - I'll be glad to do it for you, given some patience.

Oh no.
For future reference a high res is actually easier to work on than a low res file,
I wish you posted the link in the original post.
Here's the low res version.

For the high res I have st start all over again.
I don't mind but just be aware of this if you want something else done.
