What have to be done;
Remove the river from the picture and replace it with the surrounding ground, i've tried to use the cloning tool here but the result comes of not very natural which is needed.
Change the color of the ground and all it's surroundings to a more desert like yellow/red environment. Avoid standard colorgrading if possible. I'm not sure if it could give a natural result as masks. I don't know.
