Hey guys,
First time poster...
Can you make .ICO files (i.e. for a favicon.ico file) with Photoshop CS for MAC OS X?

Just trying to figure out how to do it.

From memory I have answered this question (or a similiar one) before on these forums, have you tried a search for "icon" and "plugin".

<LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="http://www.yourwebsite.com/iconimage.ico"> make sure that you have the file in the root directory of your site.

If you need more help shout back, not sure what else you need - Oh and welcome to the forum :)

Check this sites for more info on favicons.

That line of code that thehermit posted should go in the head section of your index page.

Hermit is right, he did post a url to a website that has a ico plugin for PS.

Here it is: http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/

It just lets you make them, but it doesn't teach you how to insert them into a webpage and so forth. For that Oybro posted a great page.
