Photoshop's photo-merge works brilliantly where photos are taken from the same point, however, I want to do a merge of photos of an entire street, where photos obviously have to taken from different points. In cinematic terms, this is "truck", not "pan".
I'm thinking I need to remove as much perspective / depth of field as I can, with the restriction that obviously the furthest away I can get is the other side of the street.
I'm thinking I need to use the centre vertical strip of multiple photos taken only a few feet apart.
So once I have these vertical strips in PhotoShop, can the photomerge still work for me? I have found with the rudimentary testing I've done, PhotoShop still thinks my camera is in one spot, and distorts the image into the false fish-eye appearance. Grrrr.
So is there a way to merge photos which are not taken from the same point? |
