Hi all,
Just been trying to design a business card from scratch as a small project.
All I want to do is
1) Have a black background
2) Load a pic
3) now photo collage that pic on to the black background so that it smoothly collages/merges into the black background.
its simple but I cant figure out how to collage seemlessly.
Could someone please help?

Not sure what you mean by photo collage that pic onto the background, but it sounds like you should use a layer mask with a gradient. |

meaning merge seemlessley..
join together so that there is no border
blend in with the background
is that kinda clear?

(From the French: coller, to glue) is a work of formal art, primarily in the visual arts, made from an assemblage of different forms...sounds like you should use a layer mask with a gradient |
