Hi. My girlfriend and I are making a comic together, but we're having troubles.

We have Photoshop CS, and we need to make the frames - so we tried using the rectangle tool - but when we do this, we can't draw in the frames, and when we add a new layer and switch to it, the frames vanish.

Any ideas? Confused

Use the rectangle tool. On a layer above the rectangle, you can draw your comic. By "Grouping" these two layers, the upper layer will only be visible if it is above the rectangle. In other words, if you're drawing and the brush goes outside the rectangle, that pasrt of the stroke wil not be visible. Group layers by ctrl-clicking on the line betwenn two layers. Once you done this, you'll probably want a border arounf the panel, so apply a layer style to the rectangel layer.
