Hello, my name is Conor,
I am very interested in creating digital art, I am new to photoshop and I would like to create anime style art or something similar :)

I would be very glad of anyone who would help me or teach me how to become a good digital artist, I'm open to all help, I'm a beginner artist and I would love to learn how to create great looking images,

Many thanks!

Well, if you want to create anime art in Photoshop, and you are good at drawing by hand, I would first suggest that you buy a digital tablet, like Wacom.

To become a 'good' or even 'great' digital artist, the only way is to practice, practice, practice. I cannot stress it enough. You can learn all the tips, tricks, and techniques possible. However if you do not know what you are doing or how to apply them, then you will not go anywhere.

If you want to draw anime and that is what you are passionate about, then I would suggest Googling tutorials for such. I found this one http://www.adobetutorialz.com/articles/2825/1/Anime-Girl-Wallpaper awhile back. I have not tried it since I am not good at drawing anything. The best I can do is to trace over pictures. But I suggest that as a great way to get used to the tablet. Find a picture, I used one from Naruto of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura running, and it helps you learn about control, speed, and sizes of brushes.
