Hello. I just made this account today to try to get feedback and tips on two things I have made today. These are the first two things that I have ever made using Photoshop, so don't be too harsh. These were just made with a mouse, though I hope to get a tablet soon.

Thanks in advance :)

hi,
well first of all i just think of myself as a novice.. smile.... and we all been there starting out with photoshop...

your not doing bad for your first time with a paint program...

as far as opinion... as practice more you will get better...

now the girl can't say much, I can't draw worth a darn.. your heck of alot better than i can ever be...lol..
now the bottom picture... i thought the ball didn't a nice round shape...

now it can be difficult to make a nice roundcircle however ... your ball has very rough edges...

tip-if you use the ellyptical marquee tool hold down the shift key and then click and drag... you'll get a nice perfect round circle...

lighting... that is always sometimes difficult thing to judge...

the light at the top of the ball seems to be more in front instead of in back... hense the shadow , at least to me , doesn't look right ... in fact with that shadow I am not sure if you would see that bright spot.. and in fact maybe this side of the ball maybe a little darker//

well that aboutit for my 2 cents worth... the biggest thing with photoshop is practice that why i'lll never be really good i don't enough practice...

For a first time on Photoshop these are brilliant. I really wish I could draw, never could even with a paper and pencil.

You might find it easier and more productive to use Illustrator or Freehand for drawings
