i have photoshop 7.0 and i was wondering if it was possible to make most of a photo black and white but then like the eyes or something color.....If this is possible how so?

Yes it is possible with ps 7.0 there are MANY ways to do this in PS 7.0. I will show you just one. way.

Open your photo.

make a hue and saturation adjustment layer by going into layer/ new adjustment layer/ hue and sat. and moving the sat slider all the way to the left. That will make it black and white.

now to get the color back make sure you are still in the newly created adlustment layer and press the letter d on your keyboard - that will make your paltte colors black and white.

Now get a soft round brush and paint some black over top of the eyes and the color will return. if you screw up paint some white over where you screwed up and it will return to black and white. THIS WORKS TRUST ME!

I have attached a sample just to proove to you this works.

I forgot to select the brush option within my screen shot to show you it can be done.

Couldn't you just select what you want to have color, then inverse the selection to select everything but what you want colored and then just change the hue/saturation?
