in response to my own query, its a bit strange but seems i can print from photoshop 6 but only if i print straight from the print command i.e Control + P and enter, It won't print if i go through the printer setup commands - ie control-shift-P and then select my printing preferences.
So it seems i have to prepare the printer settings first via cntrl-shift-P, then close that whole dialogue box down, then hit control-P and enter and it prints.
If someone knows how to corect this, that would be most welcome. I guess I'll try and download the latest printer and see if that corrects it. Regards
