An excellent collab I have just finished with my good friend Groundbase.
This image isn't hosted on DeviantART so the link may sometimes be down... DeviantART has made a new license agreement that if you submit your art, they practically own it, and they can do whatever they want with it and they don't have to give you any credit... So im not submiting anything else to DeviantaART... I've made a petition to stop this if anyone has a DA account you shoudl probably sign it it's on my page www.shadowtm.deviantart.com just comment on the journal and your name will be added to the petition list.
Anyways... here's the collab I had just finished!

ok that is one freaking SICK composition!!!!! great job. major props to you that one. The planet looks amazing! the only thing i dont like is the grassy hills. the ones in the foreground seem too saturated, and the ones in the middleground look kind of blotchy... but actually since this piece is like a sci-fi kinda thing. this look works and does well with it. anyway, yeah thats really cool. oh and obviously it would be too long to explain how you did all this, but what are some things i could do to get going in the whole direction of space art? like are there certain filters you do to brushstrokes or whatever? |

Thnx for the comment .
No there are no filters added to brush strokes, when you digitally paint it's all painting tools, no filters added, the only time you need filters are for special effects like blurs and sometimes motion blurs.
If your getting into space art, I advise you look at this guys gallery, he is the master.

Look for some tutorials on his page and it should help you. _________________ Space Artist
