i was wondering if some of you guys(and/or girls)know the best free place for hosting the pictures that i photoshop from. all of the sites that i have found so far either shrinks the image so small that it distorts, adds their logo to your pics or wont let you link outside of the site itself. the reason i want free right now is because i only have between 7 and 10 pics that i want to host at the moment, and the photoshops that i turn out for the next month or so(which wont be much probably) and then i will buy some space on the web for my pics when the number of them grow. most of the pics i have are high resolution, 1024x755 or so in size. so bandwidth limits would be a bad thing also. if anyone can tell me a place i would really really appreciate it alot. thanks

I use this "free" install http://gallery.sourceforge.net/ for my gallery. It's a whole other world having your "CLEAR" photo's on your own website.
There are some absolutely lovely galleries online with this awsome programming. See my gallery here. http://soldierette.com/galleryframe.htm/
There are forums like these for help in getting it up and running too. I used to use both fotki.com (it started out free to everyone) and imagestation.com I still have both, but fotki started charging and locked my account so that I can't add any new photo's. Imagestation makes the photo's blurred as it reduces it for viewing, plus visitors have to log in to see your photo's. |

Yeah that's the best, I recently registered so I can keep track of all my images without notepad. |

Even though you answered your own question, I'll say what I use for anyone having the same question..
I would really recommend buying space. I plan on it next year some time when finances are better. But for now, I use photobucket. They're terrible in the fact that they go down here and there. One day, they were down half the day, then on for a little, then down some more. I swear, i was ticked. |
