Firstly I apologise for bringing down the ability of the forum but I am very much a beginner/novice on Photoshop from the UK.
I am trying to make a Mr men character (Mr Grumpy) look like he is wearing a Manchester City Football top. I have done one already but it doesn't look great (attached).
Any advice on wear I can find a guide to help me do this.

Also think about the positoning, you've out the logos from the shirt between his mouth and nose (on his face) to make him look like hes wearing a shirt you'll need to put them lower, you might have to adjust him a tad to make room though?
