1. what is the best selection tool? i use the polygon one, but i think there are betters. by the way, is the computer suppose to make a lot of noise while i use it? it seems like it takes a lot of power from it. =/

2. i saw a video on youtube where a person's eyes were turned red (demon type of stuff). what tool would i need for that?

3. what can a person do to a liquify tool (the expanding one) to make it seem more realistic instead of "thick"?

4. if i'm editing a person's face, how would i make it "smooth" and "light"?

1. I would go for the magic wand tool, but it depends on the colour difference between the object and the background, for example if you have a black object and a white background its is very quick and set the tolerence levels quite high. If you have a brown object and a beige background it will be a lot of clicks and adjusting the tolerence levels.

2. I would use colour replacement tool

3. Just use small brushes and very small movements

4. Select the face using the polygon tool or magic wand etc, whilst still selected go into filters> blur> gaussion blur and use 3-7, but depends how far you want to go. Then use the dodge tool, ensuring the brush size is correct and the opacity etc.

Hope this helps
