Hi, everyone!
I've been toiling away at this idea for hours now. It's supposed to be a Christmas present / inside joke for my wife. I'm absolutely useless at Photoshop and was hoping that somebody might be able to help me with this.
I'm not sure if it's labor intensive, but I thought I'd see if it's possible. What I'd basically like to do is apply the effect from the Obama picture (attached) to my picture (also attached). I just want the same colors and effect, and the word "HOPE" below, as well.
If anyone would be so kind as to give this a shot you'd make me very happy.

Well, first take a potriat photo.
Open with photoshop.
then posterize it to level 5
you will see the outlines on the face much better.
Now, basicly this is going to be a vector image, you will ONLY use the pen tool
So, outline the whole body with the pen tool. sry this is difficult to explain.
This will create a shape over the person. turn the opacity to 0 (of the shape)
then basiclly go from largest to smallest details (i.e, the body, then face, then hair , to the mouth and eyes and nose.
If u look at the poster, u will see these layers of shapes. |
