Hey all,
I'm at my wits end. A while back and by a while I mean possible CS3 or CS4 or even earlier, there was this really cool software, plugin maybe? that would take any photographs and swap in interesting backgrounds/textures. It had this clean algorithm where it would instamask the process so you could clean off the main subject.
For the life of me I cannot find it and I forgot to back it up... if this sounds familiar, does anyone know the name?
Sorry I can't be more help, I just can't remember what it was called. |

Sounds too good to be true
You might be thinking of the 'Perfect Mask' software. |

i checked it out, its not perfect mask.
i hesitate to say it was gimmicky but in the best possible way. it had this library of "backgrounds" that you could choose and they all had cheesy names and you picked one and it would render and you'd just paint your actual image and poof, perfect background change...
it was awesome.
and i forgot what it was called! it was around the time that capture one and topaz first came out. |

its driving me absolutely insane. i keep looking through old images and files to see if i can find a glimpse of it somewhere. serves me right for not backing up my plugins and actions properly. |
