| I was recommend to try the 'flatten layer' option. That worked. Just don't know why PS or how PS can apply a layer that does not appear in the layers palette. But it does. Thanks, Bob |

| Nope, no alpha channels. I saw the 'pyramid' option in the tif options dialogue box but don't know what that is. I will try again to disable it but it is still a mystery that sometimes I get the 'incl ... | |
