I have my rulers set to inches, but can't get them to represent actual inches. I hold a ruler up to my screen and the ruler inches are always too big or small. How can I get and "inch" to be a real inch?
I need this so I can see the actual size of what I'll be printing. CS3. Mac.
Thanks. (33.33% is still off) |

DPI PPI etc.. Monitor size etc.. Yeah i hear you.
However, you might be interested in a Free on screen adjustable ruler.
You can set your chosen monitor settings and it will show you the true inches on this ruler http://www.pascal.com/software/freeruler/
I would use this ruler VS my monitor settings until i was able to get true inches from standard ruler.
Good luck. (anyone finding this useful ) |

Noobies When you print through Photoshop, Inches are Inches, but most people print the images they've made in photoshop's image files instead.
Just open a file, choose the size in Inches and you'll be fine. _________________ http://imageshack.us/a/img88/8328/ezioyk.png
