Dear All,

I am really new using Photoshop and I am desperate to make a montage or collage of two pictures into one and have it look close to perfection (or to a real photograph). I found an image on a website that looks like what I need to do with one of the pictues before adding it to the photo-collage.montage I am planing. Can anyone be kind to show me to do the same on my picture, please?

I appreciate any feedback!

Thanks, Alex

If you plan to place something in between the fingers the important thing to remember is that the fingers dent with the presure..so you'll need to darken the skin in the pressure places..also need to trim the image (my case the ball) to have skin over lapping the ball to show the weight against the fingers..

I don't think I make an sense?

Lasa,
Did you use the dodge tool to achieve that effect?

Always great work!

Wow!! You guys are really tallented!!! Perhaps I should explain better wha tI need to do. I used image of the hand to exemplify how I would like to make a selection of one imaeg, deliniate it as perfectly as in the hand image to then merge it with another image to make one picture out of two. Does it sound right? Well, since you guys are the pros here, I would like to replace the boy from the picture of the image of the grown-man on the other picture. How can I meke it so it appears real?

I really aprecite the help!!

Chris,
Yeah, I used the burn tool to make the shadows on the fingers. Dodge to lighten a couple spots. I love both the dodge and burn tools it's just a matter of setting then at around 5% (give or take) and slowly building up.

Thanks for the kind words,

Lasa

alexferreira,
The quality and lighting of both these pictures are so different.. you'll have a rough time making it look like anything.
But this would be the idea, place guys picture on womans..lighting is all messed up and her loving look clashes with his "here's johnny" look...
You've got a ton of work ahead of you..and I suspect it will never look convincing.

Thanks Lasa.

I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the back ground of the new photo you finished and leave only guy and girl on it?

Thanks a million for the help !!!!!!
