I was wondering how everyone feels about photoshop changeing the cost of fhotoshop cs5 & cs6.If you bought cs5 when it first came out you will be alright.I have heard that you still have to pay your upgrade price and have to pay so mush a month to keep useing it.I am retired and I am not going to do this.I am trying to find another program to edit my photos was wondering what everybody feels about this. Can you recomend some programs.I was thinking about Photoshop Elements & maybe Lightroom. All help is Appreciated.....Thanks. If you are up for a little bit of a steep learning curve, then I would say try the GIMP It's free, so not much cost there ;) It can't work in 16bit yet, so if you need that feature maybe not, but it certainly shares a lot of similarities to Photoshop.

As for Elements and the like, it really depends upon the level of editing you like to do to your images. You don't actually say what version (if any) of Photoshop you have at the moment?

Oh and welcome to the forum.

UFDraw is a plug-in and RAW converter for GIMP this website says it supports your camera type. It's all unknown territory to me though!
