Hi,
I've been having this problem on and off: when trying to save a file to an external hard drive directly connected to my mac g5, I get an error message sating that Photoshop can't save the file. The only way around this is for me to save the file to the desktop and then copy it to the external drive.
Anybody has any advice on this annoying and time consuming problem?
Thanks.

If you used a photo, downloaded, made in some other program, etc.. and you open that photo in photoshop (any version), than you can only save the picture in the path where the existed picture is opened.

example. i am opening a picutre from my desctop, than i decorating it ... or not metter what am i doing, i must to saved it to desktop, or it would show the error like yours. thanks ! Brow
