Hi I have recently taken photos for a promotion of what can be done with one studio light. The images were shot and reproduced to Jpg's. I did not crop the images or do anything in photo shop to them except a small exposure and a slight colour balace adjustment.
We want the readers to know the edges were not burned in or darkened, that how they appear is done in camera and not as an effect in photoshop.
What would the corect statement for this be ?/ "not manipulated in Photoshop"?
even though exposure and colour balace are manipulating the image??

Help on this would be greatly appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum, the one on the right does look edited (due mainly to the highlight behind her lower back). As to what you call an edited image that you wish to give a name to for it to appear unedited, I don't really know. I understand that for marketing purposes you don't want to say 'Photoshoped', but I don't know the term you need, as you assume you can't say 'as shot'.

"As captured by the camera."

Would that work?

or maybe "Untouched Photograph."?

Can't really think of anything else at the moment.

You can say something like: the photos are the effect of true studio lighting and have not been digitally enhanced.
