Hi everyone, I hope it's not too soon to start asking for reviews. This is the only place I know where I can get honest feedback.

Could this logo make a woman want to go out and spend $160.00 on human hair?

What is it?

A barber or hair transplant facility?

The shape popping out at you seems kind of weird. The little hump on the left side is what I think might be throwing it off. Is it supposed to represent a hair?

Thanks. Your right it does look a little odd, but that might be a good thing too. I honestly don't know. I'll try to make it looks a little more conventional. Thanks for the tip. The logo is for a place that sells human hair to women for weaving.

I trimmed it a little. I'll smooth it out once It looks right.

I like it much better!

What font did you use? I really like it.

I have a suggestion though! :)

Maybe add some actual hair to it. Below is a quick crude example I did. It looks a bit hoky but I am sure you could do better than what I did. Just a thought. The way I think of logos, are that in most cases it is good to think that someone might only glance at it for a second and you want them to know what the logo is for right away... like hair.

hey whats up man. ok for the logo. here are a few quick tips that will help out alot in the conceptual aspect of things. logos will be used big and small...so you need somthing that reads the same small as it does blown up. another thing is that a logo will often times be in black and white (letter heads, buisness cards, documents etc)
3rd. choose your type carfully...bad font can ruin a good logo. your logo needs to have meaning and make sence to the eye.

as for what you have right now. i dont think it looks professional...it looks a bit cartoon. the font is just a little to bubble. plus why is it green?

as far as te last logo i see youi have posted. loose the hair.. you need it and it doesnt really work. i think it is too busy. anyway your off to a great start. keep it up and keep us posted.

haha i dont think you need the trade mark just yet.

That was me that added the hair! :)

I think I might have been playing off the "cartoon" look. Good points on the b&w aspect and print size.

I agree, with that font style that might be a bad choice. To someone that has bad eye sight (not me) could not tell whether that is a C or a G. Also lose the (.) Period, its a logo not a paragraph.

Just my 2cents.

Its a groovy design but seems a little light hearted or frivolous for a product as serious and sensitive( to most people) as wigs or toupees.
Maybe a stylized beautiful woman with flowing tresses or handsome guy with a bumper crop of curls might get the point across more succinctly as you need to make the product as attractive as possible because lets face it, its advertising the sale of a human tissue, ie hair.

Good luck with it.

Thanks so much for the tips. The client wanted the cheezy look for a logo, including the trademark symbol. I wanted to make sure it has a professional look to it.

Here's the latest version.
