I've used .TIF files from Agile Rabbit for years and had no trouble with them, (I own the CD's)...for some strange reason, this week when I go to open one of the files, it opens ok in Photoshop, but the layer is locked. In the past I could unlock the layer to manipulate image, knock out background, change color, etc. Now I cannot unlock the layer.

Any help or suggestions? I am baffled and have a project hanging fire!

I've attached the image.

Thanks in advance!

Kit

Ctrl+J? to create a duplicate layer or press the black padlock in the bottom right palette (Layers Palette). Not sure if padlock trick works as I would always duplicate the original source image.

Sorry if your level of understanding is greater than I give you credit for. Other than a technical problem I can't see why you would have a problem.
