these two images have relatively the same background, and the subjects are in similar (though not exactly) the same spot.

essentially i want to delete all of the background... is there any way to do that by just "keying" out the background from both images?

essentially, a tool that deletes all pixels that are the same in both images.[/img]

So, you'd have to do it manually. What would be the most effective means of doing so?

Put both images on their own layer. Turn on just one of them and make a manual selection to remove the background. Make a selection of the blank area (ctrl+click the layer, magic wand, whatever).

Turn on the other layer image and add a layer mask. The mask will be of the selection so you'll only have minor differences to clean up.
